OLED display

Color and precision
by the pixel.

OLED comes to iPad mini. The new Super Retina XDR display delivers deep, vivid colors and incredibly high contrast for your viewing pleasure. With 1200 nits peak brightness and 1 nit minimum brightness, content is easy on the eyes in any light. Colors are incredibly vivid and accurate, with support for P3 wide color and True Tone technology that automatically adapts white balance to match ambient lighting. And an optional nano-texture glass finish helps reduce glare even in challenging lighting conditions.

A simply stunning display.

With 24 percent thinner bezels¹ than the previous iPad mini, the Super Retina XDR display is a more expansive 8.5-inch canvas,⁴ making room for all your shows, photos, books, and notes.
Brilliant color, true blacks, and remarkable contrast.

OLED technology comes to life on iPad mini — delivering pixel-level lighting control, rich and accurate colors, and deeper dynamic range.
Optional nano-texture glass.

Nano-texture display glass scatters ambient light instead of bouncing it back, so you get less glare without losing contrast or color accuracy. Whether you’re working outside, traveling, or creating on the go, what’s on the screen stays clear and readable.
